Abstract
Pulsed-laser-induced synthesis of nickel sulphides at a liquid-solid i nterface in a sulphur-containing medium has been described. It has bee n proved that the phase composition of the surface products is largely dependent on the irradiation power density. Changes in the phase comp osition are discussed in connection with the effect of the laser-induc ed shock wave on the systhesis reaction.
