Abstract
Vacuolar flavonoids were investigated in Acer glabrum and compared to published data. The profile consists of two unidentified flavanones, t wo kaempferol 3-O-monoglycosides, two quercetin 3-O-monoglycosides, ru tin and isorhamnetin. The presence of flavanones sheds new light on th e relationship between A. glabrum and its supposed closest relatives. No differences were found in the profiles of infraspecific taxa.
