Abstract
Collisionless and quasi-neutral hydrodynamic model of plasmas consisti ng of electrons and several species of ions are investigated. When two species of ions are considered, the hyperbolicity of the system of tr ansport equations obtained in the quasi-neutrality limit leads to a re striction on the magnitude of the admissible relative velocities.
