Abstract
We describe the application of a recently developed cell theory of sol id solutions to the calculation of solid phase thermodynamics and soli d-fluid phase equilibria for hard sphere mixtures. We focus on freezin g into both substitutionally ordered and substitutionally disordered s olid solutions. A comparison with Monte Carlo simulation results is pr esented.
