Abstract
45 degrees fracture in rolled sheets of W and Mo is caused by alignmen t of the cleavage planes in the rolling texture. 45 degrees embrittlem ent is caused by the nucleation of critical cracks at isolated grains formed by recrystallization of weak secondary components of the textur e.
