Abstract
Isotopes with Z less than or equal to 2 emitted in Au+Au collisions at 250 AMeV were detected during Phase I of the FOPI collaboration at SI S by an array of Delta E - E telescopes. Events were sorted using glob al variables measured by the main FOPI detector. The energy spectra of light isotopes emitted in selected-central collisions seem to rule ou t a pure thermal emission even for Z = 1 isotopes (at variance with th e results of previous experiments).
