Abstract
A method for producing light radioactive nuclear beams, in particular of He-6, with an energy of up to 10 MeV/A is described. The results of experiments on the elastic scattering of He-6 on a Pb-208 target and on He-6-induced fission of Bi-209 are presented and conclusions about the properties of He-6 are drawn.
