Abstract
Latent tracks created by Co-59 ions in 1-alpha-alanine and standard bo ne powder were examinated by EPR-method, For 3.4 MeV/amu cobalt ions t he mean radius of tracks (considered as the distance from the ion path on which a detectable concentration of paramagnetic centers exits) wa s estimated as (190+/-30) Angstrom for 1-alpha-alanine and (220+/-30) Angstrom for bone powder.
