Abstract
The cross-sections for fission of Bi-209 induced by secondary beams of He-6 by He-4 and Li-7 were measured. For the registration of fission fragments polyterephtalate plastic and muscovite mica detectors were u sed. In the case of the reaction of helium ions with bismuth the cross -section of the fission of Bi-209 induced by He-6 are significantly hi gher than the corresponding alpha-particle-induced fission cross-secti on.
