Measurements of spartial distributions of elements Pt, Au, Pb in natur
al minerals using nuclear reaction of accelerated heavy ions are repor
ted, The experimental procedure is based on recording instant fission
fragments f.f. and induced activity of compound nuclei produced in the
reactions, Yields and angular distributions of f.f. were measured alo
ng with alpha-particle yields at different ion energies, The de-exitat
ion process for some compound nuclei was considered taking into accoun
t fission and neutron-evaporation channels, Fission cross sections, an
gular distributions and isotope yields are calculated and compared wit
h experimental data for (C,f) and (C,xn) nuclear reactions, Spatial mi
cro distributions of Pt and of some other elements in natural samples
have been obtained using accelerated carbon ions.
