Abstract
On the basis of the phenomenological parametrization for the elementar y gamma+p-->Lambda+K+ process amplitudes, the cross sections and polar izations have been estimated for the (gamma, K+) reactions on typical p-shell targets. Characteristic aspects of the reaction are discussed in comparison with the pi- and K-induced reactions.
