Abstract
Formalism for the electroproduction of strange particles based on the one photon exchange approximation and the Feynman diagrams representat ion of hadron current is reviewed. Different photoproduction models ar e compared with available photo and electroproduction data. The prospe cts of high resolution hypernuclear spectroscopy on electron beams are investigated for the electroproduction of He-7(Lambda), Li-9(Lambda), (12)Lambda B and O-16(Lambda).
