Abstract
A special double optical-fiber probe has been used in order to obtain the local characteristics of the gas phase in a gas-liquid reactor: bu bbling frequency, size distribution and rising velocity. Using a parti cular treatment of the signals, it is possible to take into account th e whole bubbles, even though they cannot initially be validated.
