Abstract
Magnetic X-ray circular dichroism has been measured in ferromagnetic u ranium sulphide at the M(IV) and M(V) edges of uranium. Preliminary da ta obtained by fluorescence detection are presented, and our found to be in qualitative agreement with resonant magnetic diffraction intensi ties.
