Abstract
This paper presents the two-parameter nominal stress approach, which u ses an S-a-S-m-N curved surface equation to calculate the fatigue dama ge of each load cycle considering the effect of stress amplitude and m ean simultaneously. Experimental results show that the accuracy of fat igue life prediction is improved through the two-parameter nominal str ess approach.
