Abstract
We present the current ADINA-F capabilities for fluid flow analysis. T he fluid can be considered to be an incompressible or compressible med ium. Free surfaces and the full interactions with structures in two- a nd three-dimensional conditions can be analyzed. The basic formulation s and finite element discretizations used are described, the technique s for the solution of the finite element equations are briefly discuss ed, and the results of various demonstrative analyses are given.
