There are presented results of studies on new concepts of working flui
ds of emulsion and micro emulsion types of oil-water systems. Diameter
distribution of oil particles dispersed in emulsion and micro emulsio
n have been compared as well as the effect of the temperature and anio
nic additives on the stability range of micro emulsion have been deter
mined in tests of the model system that has been based on non-ionic em
ulsifiers. The aim of the tests was to develop a new generation of lub
ricating and cooling process liquids and nonflammable hydraulic fluids
, based on domestic raw materials and additives.
