Abstract
School plays a major role in the lives of children and adolescents. In evitably, school-related material will be brought to the treatment ses sions by children and adolescents who are in psychotherapy. This artic le reviews the issues therapists need to consider when dealing with sc hool-related material and also explores the complexities of direct con tact with school personnel when such contact is clinically indicated.
