Abstract
Macroazoinimers are macromonomer azoinitiators and have been prepared by the reaction of polyazoesters having polyethylene glycol units and a functionalized vinyl monomer. Macroazoinimers behave as a macroinime r, a macrocrosslinker and an initiator, so they can be homopolymerize as well as copolymerize with another vinyl monomer. In each case, poly merization reactions give cross-linked polymers. Polymerization condit ions and properties of polymers obtained by using macroazoinimers have been studied.
