Abstract
The crystal structure of the title compound is formed by centrosymmetr ic [Cu-4(Prop)(6)(Ph(3)P)(4)(EtOH)(2)] (prop = CH3CH2CO2-) molecules w hich contain a dinuclear Cu-2(mu-prop)(4) unit similar to those found in tetrakis(mu-acetato)copper(II) complexes. Both axial positions of t his unit are occupied by an O atom of the propionate group of a Cu(pro p)(Ph(3)P)(2)(EtOH) moiety.
