Abstract
The structure of 2,14-tetramethy1-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane di hydrate, C14H32N4.2H(2)O, contains molecules of 14SR-tetramethyl-1,4,8 ,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane (which are centrosymmetric) and 4RS-tetra methyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane, with different macrocycle co nformations and different configurations of the four chiral C atoms. T he crystal structure is stabilized by hydrogen bonds.
