Fm. Camacho et I. Gata, HYPOTRICHOSIS AND LOOSE ANAGEN HAIR IN EEC (ECTRODACTYLY, ECTODERMAL DYSPLASIA, CLEFT-LIP PALATE) SYNDROME, EJD. European journal of dermatology, 5(4), 1995, pp. 300-302
The EEC syndrome is a genodermatosis consisting of ectrodactyly (E), e
ctodermal dysplasia (E), and cleft lip/palate (C) but other systemic f
eatures, such as genito-urinary anomalies, may be associated. In this
paper, the case of a 28-month-old girl with EEC syndrome with arched p
alate instead of cleft palate is reported. The girl also had a picture
typical of loose anagen hair syndrome. To our knowledge, this is the
first description of this association.
