Ev. Voskoboinik et al., INCREASE OF THE MODE SIZE IN A LASER WITH A STIMULATED BRILLOUIN-SCATTERING MIRROR, Kvantovaa elektronika, 22(3), 1995, pp. 242-244
An experimental investigation was made of the factors leading to an in
crease in the mode size in a laser with an <<external>> stimulated Bri
llouin scattering mirror. An increase in the wings of the transverse d
istribution of the laser beam, inaccurate phase conjugation, and broad
band pumping tended to increase the mode size and the output radiation
energy.
