Electromechanical analogies are used to derive expressions for the ele
ctromechanical Z parameters and for the energy spectra of external sou
rces of noise in an lf equivalent of an optical displacement sensor wi
th frequency-selective squeezing of the vacuum noise. The minimum nois
e temperature of the sensor is estimated. The use of squeezed vacuum f
luctuations can improve the noise matching of the sensor system and he
lp to achieve the minimum noise temperature even for a nonoptimal rela
tionship between the parameters of the system.
