C. Yildiz et E. Alcan, THE EFFECT OF STRONG ANISOTROPIC SCATTERING ON THE CRITICAL SPHERE PROBLEM IN NEUTRON-TRANSPORT THEORY USING A SYNTHETIC KERNEL, Annals of nuclear energy, 22(10), 1995, pp. 671-679
The effect of strong anisotropic scattering law on the variation of th
e critical radius in one-speed neutron transport theory is studied usi
ng a synthetic kernel. Numerical results for the critical radius are o
btained and tabulated for selected illustrative cases. The results ind
icate that low-order Legendre approximations are sufficient to show th
e effect of anisotropic scattering on the variation of the critical ra
dius.
