Abstract
The activities of CuO and NiO in {xCuO + (1 - x)NiO} have been determi ned in the temperature range 1170 K to 1370 K by solid-electrolyte gal vanic cells. The solubility limits of CuO in NiO and NiO in CuO have b een estimated. The solutions exhibit strong positive deviations from i deal behaviour. (C) 1995 Academic Press Limited
