Abstract
Two localities, Cezavy and Skalka, both considered as being sacral hil ls, have shed light on the rituals and the religious beliefs of a loca l population living in Central Europe during the Bronze Age. The autor discusses the chronological changes and the social stratification in Central European sites. Cezavy is a hill overlooking the Svratka valle y. It contains two layers dating from the Bronze Age: the older layer belongs to the Veterov Culture of the Early Bronze Age, and the younge r one belongs to the Velatice Culture of the Late Bronze Age. The find s at this site suggest that a relationship existed in Bronze Age ritua ls, human sacrifices and anthropophagy.
