Abstract
The authors report the case of a 60-year-old male patient in whom rese ction of the bundle of His via a right-sided approach to treat permane nt very rapid atrial fibrillation was attempted, but failed. The bundl e of His tissue was resected very easily on the left side due to the p resence of a patent foramen ovale, which also avoided the risks of the left catheterism in this patient.
