PRECISION SPECTROPHOTOMETRY - APPARATUS, MEASUREMENT METHODS, AND REFERENCE-STANDARDS

This paper discusses the main results of the work of the State Optical Institute (GOI) in the area of precision spectrophotometry. The main problems that arise when obtaining accurate values of the spectrophoto metric characteristics of materials and coatings are briefly explained . The paper formulates the main principles of the approach developed i n the laboratory of precision spectrophotometry to ensure accuracy and consistency in spectrophotometric measurements. The main characterist ics of the apparatus and of the reference standards of the GOI referen ce-spectrophotometer complex are indicated.
