D. Kriz et al., INTRODUCING BIOMIMETIC SENSORS BASED ON MOLECULARLY IMPRINTED POLYMERS AS RECOGNITION ELEMENTS, Analytical chemistry, 67(13), 1995, pp. 2142-2144
The construction and operation of fiber-optic sensing devices based on
molecularly imprinted polymers are reported. Fiber-optic detection of
an amino acid derivatized with a fluorescent labeling group (dansyl-L
-phenylalanine) is demonstrated. The advantages of using molecularly i
mprinted polymers as artificial recognition systems in sensor technolo
gy are discussed.
