Abstract
An iterative scheme involving minimum distance, nonexpansive projectio ns onto convex spaces for the reconstruction of a signal from its wave let transform modulus maxima is described. The minimum distance projec tion corresponding to the convex component of the modulus maxima const raint can be implemented using the method of quadratic programming.
