Abstract
By using a hybrid EDFA with a flat gain over 17nm, two wavelength mult iplexed 120 channel AM-VSB signals were successfully transmitted, for the first time, without significant degradation of distortions. This w as also realised with the help of a newly developed BPF which had a fl at transmittance around the peak wavelength.
