Abstract
Biochemical and antigenical characteristics of tannin-protein complex degrading enterobacteria (T-PCDE) isolated from Koalas, Phascolarctos cinereus, were investigated. T-PCDE had a specific profile of characte ristics, and T-PCDE was distinguished from those of 12 type strains of Enterobacteriaceae used.
