An in situ spectroelectrochemical capillary slit cell based on honeyco
mbed gold-LIGA structures with a response time below 100 ms and a conv
ersion time of 1.2 s is described. The construction and the advances o
f the LIGA-spectroelectrochemical cell are discussed in detail. This c
ell is applied in studies of the electrochemical oxidation of Wursters
reagent and in kinetic investigations of the cathodic trithioisatoic
anhydride reduction.
