Abstract
We use conformal mapping techniques to derive the quasianalytical form ulas for calculating the effective dielectric constants of coplanar li nes on LiNbO3 substrates having a buffer layer. Our calculations agree well with the results obtained using the point-matching method. (C) 1 995 John Wiley and Sons, Inc.
