Abstract
Regardless of where the systemic child welfare reforms now being pursu ed by many states and communities begin, they must ultimately encompas s all systems that serve vulnerable families and children. In addition to developing new approaches to service, current reform initiatives a lso demonstrate the feasibility of using existing data for longitudina l analyses that are critical to evaluating outcomes.
