A. Jourani, INTERSECTION FORMULAS AND THE MARGINAL FUNCTION IN BANACH-SPACES, Journal of mathematical analysis and applications, 192(3), 1995, pp. 867-891
Intersection formulae are central to the development of subdifferentia
l calculus and the differentiation of marginal functions. In this pape
r, we reexamine the connection between independence conditions and int
ersection formulae. Then we apply the formulae to a general parametric
mathematical programming problem in which the constraints are defined
by multivalued functions. These results allow us to obtain generalize
d chain rules for composite functions. Corollaries of this work includ
e several well-known intersection formulae and calculus rules. (C) 199
