Abstract
A mathematical model is proposed for the distribution of trivalent rar e-earth metals as a function of the number of contacts in quasiequilib rium counter-current solvent extraction with variable feed composition s. An algorithm for computer calculations is given. The model is used to select the optimal conditions for separating a didymium mixture.
