Abstract
The extraction of lanthanide (III) and yttrium nitrates from multicomp onent solutions by trialkylmethylammonium nitrate at 298.15 K and pH 2 is examined. Physicochemical and mathematical models describing the d istributions of lanthanide(III) (Pr-Lu) and Y in multicomponent soluti ons as a function of the total metal concentration in the aqueous phas e and concentrate composition are presented.
