Abstract
The possibility of electrochemical synthesis of tantalum borides has b een demonstrated. The conditions suitable for obtaining of both crysta lline and amorphous microlayer coatings of tantalum borides have been determined. Thin-film layers of borides have been obtained by electroc hemical surface boronizing of tantalum substrates.
