Abstract
This article focuses on complications in colonoscopy related to coloni c insufflation. Causes of colonic insufflation complications are exami ned and methods that may be used to minimize complications are propose d. Testing of state-of-the-art video colonoscope systems is the basis of this analysis of insufflation complications and the resulting recom mendations.
