Abstract
We report a case of cheilitis granulomatosa of the upper lip associate d with focal, odontogenic infection, nickel and cobalt hypersensitivit y, and IgD lambda monoclonal protein in a 58-year-old woman, The lip s welling resolved almost completely within about six months under treat ment with indomethacin, 100 mg a day. Further examination revealed tha t she had asymptomatic IgD myeloma.
