Abstract
The structural and superconducting properties of YBa2(Cu1-xTix)(3)O-z samples are investigated using X-ray diffraction, ac susceptibility, a nd oxygen content measurements. The effect of increasing Ti concentrat ion in YBa2(CU1-xTix)(3)O-z lowers the oxygen content and decreases T- c, which is attributed to hole filling by Ti.
