Abstract
Samples from deer of all ages were examined to assay these biochemical markers. Narcotic drugs were not used in the capture of these animals and the mean glucose concentration was relatively high ranging from 7 .03 +/- 0,84 to 12.27 +/- 2.27 mmol/l, Concentrations of cholesterol i n the summer were greater than in the spring and in September and thos e of total protein. and urea were influenced by the intake of protein and was greatest in May. The peak concentration of ascorbic was observ ed in September, and that for vitamin E in May and September with conc entrations being lower in March.
