Abstract
Using a panel of somatic cell hybrids, we have mapped the locus for th e AHNAK-desmoyokin gene (AHNAK) to human chromosome 11. Fluorescence i n situ hybridization experiments independently confirmed the chromosom al localization and refined it to band 11q12.
