Ta. Garibyan et al., NEW METHODS OF INCREASING THE CATALYTIC ACTIVITY AND SELECTIVITY IN THE OXIDATIVE CONVERSION PROCESSES OF METHANE AND PROPYLENE, Catalysis today, 24(3), 1995, pp. 249-250
The methane and propylene oxidative conversion over Na2O/ZnO systems -
with ultrasonic treatment (UST) during preparation and without prepar
ation - was studied. Methane oxidative coupling has been also studied
over a number of oxide catalysts: Pb/aerosil, ZnO and 10%Na2O/ZnO, wit
h the mixtures of CH4-O-2 and CH4-O-2-H2O2. It has been shown that a p
ulse introduction of H2O2 vapours into the methane-oxygen mixture enab
les to increase the yield of C-2 hydrocarbons and to stabilize a state
of surface. The positive influence of the UST on catalytic activity h
as been established too.
