Abstract
A thermal energy consumption saving can be a not negligible element in the competitiveness analysis in the food industries. A software in d- BASE IV application is presented; it consents to execute thermal balan ce of the main thermal equipments in the production cycles of tomatoes , which can be a first confrontation instrument among alternating proc esses.
