A 34 year old woman with AIDS presented with adynamia and obsessive-co
mpulsive behaviour. CT scan revealed bilateral toxoplasmic lesions inv
olving basal ganglia. The neuropsychological picture resolved under sp
ecific antitoxoplasmic treatment. However, relapse of toxoplasmosis oc
curred in associating with the same behavioral changes. This is the fi
rst case of such a syndrome due to infectious lesions, and in which im
provement through transient, was observed.
