Abstract
Maculatipalma gen. et. sp. nov. is described from spots on pinnae of p alms in the rainforests of north Queensland. The taxon is placed in th e Diaporthales and compared with the closely related Apioplagiostoma a nd Plagiostoma. Plagiostoma euphorbiae and Apioplagiostoma populi are described and illustrated for comparison with Maculatipalma.
