L. Papp, INSTRUMENTAL AND ANALYTICAL METHOD FOR TH E DETERMINATION OF LEAD TRACES WITH ATOMIC-ABSORPTION MEASUREMENTS IN A CONTIFLOW SYSTEM, Magyar kemiai folyoirat, 102(12), 1996, pp. 542-545
An efficient hydride technique was developed for the separation and en
richment of lead traces from water and air. Flame heated quartz cuvett
e was used for hydride decomposition and the tracelevel lead contents
of water (similar to 1 mu g/dm(3)) were measured by means of atomic ab
sorption method. Samples from air were collected by bubbling air throu
gh a nitric acid solution. A flow injection version was also elaborate
d allowing to achieve a detection limit of 17 ng from 200 mu l solutio
n.
